  • Identification, analysis and evaluation of fraud risk for preventing major impact on the bank’s activity against unplanned and uncontrolled losses.

Main activities and responsibilities:

  • Provides prevention, identification and assessment for both internal and external fraud risks;

  • Identifies fraud attempts and monitors all suspicious applications for the SME and Corporate clients;

  • Provides support / advice to Bank management in case of irregularities, illegal actions or violations of the Internal Regulation regarding employee- conduct and performs special investigations, as required;

  • Investigates all notifications for fraud attempts received from authorities and takes the necessary actions;

  • Issuing recommendations regarding the establishment or improvement of appropriate control measures in order to mitigate fraud risk;

  • Participating actively in the annual risk assessment process;

  • Elaborates and updates the specific policies and procedures for the activity carried out;

  • Provides accurate and comprehensive reports, specific to the credit risk assessment activity;

  • Prepares official addresses to answer to authorities’ requests, in collaboration with the Legal Division, on issues of fraud and reports fraud cases to the authorities and competent institutions.

Required competency / education:

  • Proven knowledge and experience (minimum 3 years) within anti-fraud detection area, credit risk assessment, financial analysis for legal entities, credit process flow;

  • Good English language skills, both spoken and written;

  • Bachelors Degree required;

  • Self-motivated and working well under pressure.
